Purpose of the Position

Responsible for the development of fully functional web applications, with “clean” and flawless code to enhance the company’s competitive advantages. The position is a leading role of having innovative design and utilize latest workable technology to develop and implement state of the art solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define software requirements and creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms
• Design, modify, build, test, implement and document web applications, consistent with our development guideline
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology and drive the company to take advantage of the new technology.
• Utilize a holistic view of the software environment to drive improvement
• Recognize system and structure deficiency to propose solution
• Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
• Build, communicate and enforce coding and design standard
• Work closely with IT teams across the region, and with other departments

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, I.T. or equivalent disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in web application development and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in .NET 4.0, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, XML, MSSQL and SQLServer.
• Preferred knowledge in Xamarin or Mobile app development tools and Microsoft TFS.
• Preferred knowledge in new technology such as Natural Language Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Services, Advanced Machine Learning etc.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good documentation and presentation skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, able to handle multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Good team player with positive thinking and willingness to learn.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding industry is an advantage.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese / Putonghua.
