Responsibilities:

• Communicate with management and formulate group IT strategies, budget and resources planning and Annual IT Plan
• To oversee and lead the Group IT functions to facilitate the future growth, support the business need, ensure operation excellence
• Supervise the Hong Kong and PRC IT team to execute the IT plan and to ensure deliverables are meeting with expectation and required standard
• Lead and monitor the application development and/or system implementation and establish business contingency and disaster recovery plan
• Work with management and business unit heads to identify improvement initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to cope with new business development requirements with proper resources allocation
• Advise the management on and maintain IT security, compliance, control and monitoring
• Keep abreast with the trend and development in the industry and optimize the IT infrastructure, server/network, systems and policies

 
Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information System,  Computer Science or related discipline, with minimum 10 years’ experience, of which at least 5 years in senior management level, preferably from Interior Design / Construction industry
• Hands on experience in implementing ERP system
• Sound knowledge in latest programming technology like HTML5 and CSS and using various development tools such as visual studio + dot net architecture, Java + Eclipse or Netbeans
• Experienced in DBMS
• Familiar with data communication protocol (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, SNA)
• Technical knowledge in configuring & maintaining DCE equipment, router, switch, firewalls, Window and Linux server, as well as network security
• Detail-minded with holistic vision; able to explain cross-related concepts and complex mechanisms to laymen of different background in simple and understandable terms
• Strong sense on corporate operation flow and internal control measures
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Flexible to travel to China
