Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data management policies and guidelines across organization
  • Maintain data standards and keep metadata repository updated
  • Work with IT and business team to define data standard and documenting metadata information and provide consultancy on best practices for data management
  • Develop, implement and lead data quality activities
  • Identify data issues, provide initial recommendation & define data quality rules for monitoring the quality
  • Transform data from heterogeneous sources into enterprise data models
  • Produce data models, data lineage and SIPOC diagrams
  • Transform business needs/user requirements into data requirements & context diagram

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above with at least 5 years working experience in data governance and data quality management related duties
  • With knowledge in high end luxury retail business & inventory management is an advantage
  • Exposure on data management frameworks such as DAMA, BICC, DMM and understand the importance of managing data as an asset
  • Exposure in using data governance / dictionary tools such as Collibra, IBM MDM, SAP
  • Good knowledge on different database technologies such as MS SQL, DB2, Oracle, Teradata / Sybase and data analysis/BI tools such as SQL, SAS, Qlikview, platfora 
  • Independent, proactive with good communication skill
  • Result oriented with critical thinking
  • Ability to develop and advocate for recommendations/solutions
