IT Manager

A German multinational trading company is looking for a high caliber to join our team to develop & implement the new ERP system, then permanent role in Global IT team set-up & providing the support service for the Group of companies

Major responsibilities:

• Deliver large scale digital transformation projects (ERP) on a regional/global scale, prefer in Microsoft Dynamic NAV
• Analyze the system requirements, conducting detailed design and coding
• Lead project team to ensure project are met within time frame and under budget
• Manage the entire project life cycle including project planning, resource planning & allocation, testing, budgeting/cost control, stakeholder management
• Prepare document on technical / functional specification and liaise with both internal & external parties, and report to senior management on the progress regularly
• Ensure the processes, principles and guidelines are documented as handbook and are adhered to the company’s standard.
• After project completion to all offices across the regions, he / she will take up the permanent role in building up the IT team based in HK and in-charge for future supporting IT service on ERP users in the offices globally.

The Person:

• Degree holder in Information Systems or related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience on enterprise system change in design, building and deployment, preferably with exposure to multiple platforms and technologies in trading & sourcing industry
• Strong problem solving and influence skill in communication
• Solid capability to work with different levels of stakeholders and multiple vendors independently
• Customer-oriented; able to work independently and lead multiple small to medium size initiatives or projects
• Good knowledge of multiple aspects of the ERP application as industry standard is advantageous
• Experience gain in MNC with global exposure is preferable.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a bonus
