Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement initiatives to create the future travel experience at HKIA from both the business and operations perspective.  It includes the applications of biometric, self boarding gates, Terminal CDM concept, mobile apps, social media analytics, big data analysis, passenger transfer self-service, permanent bag tag, self-boarding gates, application of wearable technologies and robotics.
• Develop, evaluate and deliver innovative technological solutions in conjunction with airlines, Operations/ IT/ Technical Services departments  and external vendor/R&D centers
• Manage and uphold check-in process efficiency, services and  standards
• Perform analytical and monitoring on passenger systems and process improvement projects or other projects as assigned
• Apply the technovation platforms including digital display management systems, iBeacons, Artificial Intelligence platform, Internet-of-Things, WiFi, digital signage, enterprise mobile network, smart CCTV, etc. to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency
• Liaise with internal and external customers and business partners on resource planning and resolutions to enhance efficiency and passenger experience for airport operations
• Deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder.  Technology degree is not essential but is an advantage.
• Strong business sense with technology application mindset
• 10 years working experience in managing business/ operations with proven track record in using technology to improve business performance. 
• Aviation industry knowledge and experience preferred but not essential
• Open, creative and entrepreneurial mindset
• Good leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Strong problem solving, supervisory and organization skills
• Excellent command of Cantonese, English and Putonghua
• Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
