Responsibilites:

• Provide architectural solutions to the revamp of core banking system
• Define the infrastructure design to support non-functional requirements including security, single sign on, high availability, scalability, disaster recovery and service-oriented governance
• Work with business analysts to identify the business requirements and prepare appropriate architectural solutions aligning to said requirements
• Work closely with development managers and vendors to ensure the system designs are aligning with architectural solution to the business requirements
• Work closely with administrative and operation managers to ensure the core banking solution is implemented as per architectural design
• Work closely with peers covering integration of the core banking solution to other legacy systems
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years’ working experience as the architect to IT solutions, preferably with a minimum of 5 years gained from banking
• Strong knowledge in open platform technologies including AIX, Linux and Oracle RDBMS etc.
• Strong knowledge in J2EE architecture, web services and messaging technologies
• Strong knowledge in infrastructure technologies including Power System, network load-balancer, SAN storage etc.
• Experience in project methodology and full life cycle SDLC in large scale integration project
• Self-motivated, disciplined, able to work on own initiative and take responsibility for own work
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
