Job purpose

We expect every senior developers to design and code the app, but also to be able to handle testing, mobile security, and API integrations. We don’t like unnecessary meetings, that being said you will join at minima every sprint kick-off meetings and demo day (end of sprint) as well as the daily standup.. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Work with the design team on screens design for Android/iOS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Support your team mates whenever possible
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Be proactive and make suggestions for the product orientation (roadmap/user stories)
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize the product efficiency

Required qualifications include:

• Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience working in mobile applications development with at least 2 years and must have published at least 1 app
• User centric mindset (good knowledge of UI/UX)
• Good debugging and optimization skills
• Experience with third-party libraries and Restful APIs, web services, JSON
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Knowledge about VoIP is a plus
• Analytical, self-driven with new technologies
• Working language are Cantonese and English

Android qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java / ADT
• Extensive knowledge of Android SDK, Android material design

iOS qualifications:

• Proficiency in Objective-C OR Swift, C/C++ is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of iOS SDK, Objective-C frameworks, e.g. UIKit, Core Graphic, CoreData, etc
