The client is a respected global financial group, is now seeking a Senior Manager, Operational Excellence (Underwriting, Policy Admin, Call Center) (60 – 80k) to join their growing team in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

• Closely work with the function heads to identify, implement and deliver key process improvement projects, for achieving the operational efficiency and effectiveness in Operations Services
• Responsible for the overall resources and performance planning of Operations Service Department, to ensure the agreed productivity is achieved
• Lead the intermediary management team to implement the intermediary management governance framework for all intermediaries
• Provide expertise to support the local distribution and operations service initiatives, through review and analysis of operational processes, identify improvement areas, undertake process redesign and implementation across the business
• Play a key driving role in Operation Service Projects and Vendor Management exercise to ensure the deliverable are in quality
• Play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of a local Quality Assurance Framework that is fit for purpose within the Operations Service; ensure the tools and control points are built for and into the Operations as defined by the local framework
• Support and manage the reporting process for monthly Operations Service performance reporting, queries and dashboard

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in insurance / financial service industry
• Proven experience in effective control and change management in the operational environment of a large & complex organization 
• Familiar with Operations Service in Insurance Industry
• Sound knowledge in existing HKFI / IA intermediary management governance framework
• Strong problem-solving, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills
• Excellent command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
