Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the concept, design, feasibility assessment, finalization, implementation, launch and monitoring / review of the product throughout the complete cycle of the product development process
• To develop and deliver products and portfolio management as per Aviva’s Propositions Development Process and in accordance with the schedules set in product calendar
• To drive product initiatives and ensure the product can be launched as scheduled
• Assist line manager to oversee the whole product development process and the delivery of product portfolio management strategy for Aviva Hong Kong
• To conduct market intelligence, identify product gap  and design product which support the channel strategy
• To liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful launch of new product
• Ensure key risks have been identified, measured, monitored, managed and reported.
• Ensure appropriate levels of risk skills and experience within the team to support consistent risk management practices

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in roles involving proposition design in life assurance or financial services.  Candidate with less experience will also be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework
• Detailed understanding of various types of insurance products
• Understanding of the investment markets supporting these products
• Ability to design products to meet needs of distributors and customers
• Ability to innovate effectively
• Knowledge of financial services market and trends
• Good team player
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Familiar with MS Office such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
