Responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing and developing of new quality vendors, manufacturers and material suppliers in China and Asia for high quality baby/kid garment
• Effectively work with merchandising teams and QA team in all sourcing issues
• Perform evaluation for all existing vendors, manufacturers and suppliers from time to time
• Provide periodic reports on macro sourcing environments and general sourcing conditions
• Extensive travel to China and overseas

Requirements:

• At least 15 years of experience in sourcing and merchandising
• Familiar with various garment manufacturing processes and quality assurance
• Good understanding on costing and provincial production situation in China and Asia
• Degree in Textile & Clothing or related discipline
• Self-confident, responsible, result-oriented, self-motivated and with good analytical and project management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
• Computer literacy
