Job Description
Handbag manufacturer with factories in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Myanmar and Thailand - middle/middle to high end international handbag brands for Europe and US market - is looking for a PRODUCTION MANAGER (station Thailand/Myanmar – 2 posts) - with details as follows :
- Tertiary education is a plus
- Business level English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus
- Solid production management/factory management in handbag manufacturers for US or European markets
- Experience in international fashion/handbag brands for middle/middle to high end price brands is a plus
- Solid working experience from sizable manufacturers of over 1000 workers is a plus
- Offshore factory experience is an advantage, not a must
- Solid expertise in manufacturing techniques and process.
- A strong sense of leadership and excellent interpersonal relationship
- Good supervisory & delegation skill.
- Responsible, well organized, self-motivated characters.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill.
- Reporting to the Factory Director
- JOB SUMMARY : manage daily production and factory operations of the Myanmar or Thailand factory (2 posts)
- Ensuring smooth daily production operations
- Station Myanmar or Thailand factory; with occasional trips back to Hong Kong for meetings
- Accommodation and meals provided
- 5 days work
- Public holiday in Myanmar in 2017 = 28 days
- Public holiday in Thailand in 2017 = 27 days
- Candidates with more solid factory or production management experience will be considered for the post of Factory Manager (station Thailand/Myammar – 2 posts)
