A newly created role in a young and dynamic European Sourcing Office. In expanding our Hong Kong Office operation, we invite high caliber to join us and become a member of our ambitioned team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Sourcing and Cost Negotiation with Component Suppliers and EMS to maximize the cost savings
• Support the R&D Team (Head Office) for component sourcing activities
• Support the local Sourcing Manager in NPD and DFX projects
• Analyze the cost structures of products, design concepts and components
• Perform regular Benchmarking for the price of key components used in products
• Liaison with existing and new suppliers in China or other Asian countries on daily basis
• Initiate alternative sourcing channels with qualified suppliers
• Setup and maintenance of the Component Database

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in working with EMS, Manufacturers and/or Distributors of Electronic Components
• Solid experiences in working with European Buyers will be an advantage
• Good command of English and Chinese - both written and spoken
• Strong negotiation skill and target oriented; able to work under pressure
• Proactive and responsible personality
• Structured, organized and independent working style
• Versatile in MS office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Sourcing Specialist
