About the Client
U.S global electronic component business with more than 15 billion annual revenue. They offers end to end product solution from design, testing, production and logistic for world's largest manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of 4 planners to overseas materials, purchasing and inventory planning functions for Asia as well as global market. 

Responsibilities: 

  • To ensure that strategic material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity. Takes a co-coordinating lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements.
  • Manage purchasing and materials management activities across Asia, ensure optimum inventory levels to achieve inventory turn, aging targets and profitable growth
  • Supervise the team in ordering and backlog management
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with suppliers, drive process and productivity improvements

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or other relevant disciplines 
  • 8 years of experience in Material and Inventory Planning from an international manufacturing background, with experience in consumer components, PCB, semiconductor or other similar industries.
  • 3 years or above supervisory experience
  • Track record of multiple vendor management experience in electronic components
  • Process improvement project experience highly preferred
