Responsibilities

• Deliver all technical aspects of product development and ongoing technical management of Beauty and Household products from UK
• Liaise with external test laboratories to ensure all relevant products are tested appropriately
• Perform factory assessments to our quality and ethical standards and liaise with our external laboratories to ensure all relevant products are tested appropriately
• Support factories to implement appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in relevant technology or equivalent
• At least 3 - 5 years’ experience with all type of beauty or home ware products for product assurance,  testing, product inspection and factory evaluation
• Previous working experience in UK Buying Office is a plus
• Technical knowledge & experience in cosmetic, fragrance, fragrance bottles, candles, home diffusers etc.
• Hands-on experience, energetic, proactive and decisive working style
• Good team player, especially in communication with cross functional team
• Independent, detail-oriented, well-organized and analytical, able to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin
• Willing to travel to China frequently to carry out factory & production evaluation
• Less experience candidate will also be considered for the post of Technologist (Beauty)
