Summary of Position

• Responsible for product development and project delivery for international markets (mainly UK and US).
• Review and deploy quality/regulatory standards on products and process; develop suppliers to fulfill relevant standards.
• Ensure product meeting specification, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Deliver projects within agreed timeline

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• Working closely with internal parties, 3^rd party lab and suppliers to ensure product quality, technical, safety, regulatory and ethical requirements are met, and deliver new product development project within agreed timeline.
• Conduct risk assessment and address relevant risk as part of quality continuous improvement plan
• Assess and review supplier’s capability in meeting relevant standards. Manage and review supplier’s performance
• Perform during production check at supplier’s manufacturing site
• Post-delivery quality monitoring and management
• Manage supplier and delivery performance.
• Maintain effective communication interfaces with relevant stakeholders on quality, regulatory and corporate social responsibility matters.

Key Position Requirements:

• Min. 7 years of experiences in technical areas, degree holder preferably in scientific, engineering or quality related discipline
• Experienced in medical device and/or food supplements product development for US and UK markets
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, EU Medical Devices Directive, ISO 22000, as well as relevant safety and regulatory requirements
• Fluent in English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal), team player, strong organizational and analytical skills
• Occasional travels within Asia is required
