Responsibilities 

•Oversees daily operations of merchandising team and lead them to ensure all orders are properly followed up through from sampling to production and final delivery

•Manage and follow up the whole merchandising process from development, sourcing and production until delivery

•Manage and motivate the team to meet business goals & requirements, and maintain process efficiencies. Allocate best talent and effort on different tasks;

•Strengthen and maintain the good relationship with customers to build the business

•Formulate and Implement sales strategies to achieve the sales and profit targets

•Provide leadership over strategic business planning, product development, sourcing and vendor management

•Coordinate with quality control and production teams to ensure product quality and deadline are met with customers’ requirements and standards

•Good understanding of the costing and price negotiation for the company profile

Requirements 

•Diploma holder in merchandising, fashion, textile or related discipline is preferred

•At least 5-year relevant working experience in apparel industry with minimum 2-year at managerial position

•Solid experience in handling underwear products

•Solid experience in handling high-end product is an advantage

•Experienced focus in dealing with EU/US customers

•Thorough knowledge and understanding of merchandising operations and procedures

•Excellent interpersonal, decision making and organization skills

•Excellent written and oral communications skills in English

•Able to develop and empower a merchandising team

•Frequent travel to China is required

•Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandising Manager

•Immediately available is highly preferred
