Job Description
To provide quality assurance on the products which will be shipped to US market.
Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:
- Provide quality assurance on seasonal products which will be shipped to US markets;
- Work closely with cross functional team to support WBA Asia to deliver right quality product;
- Manage the inspection, testing and sample approval/rejection;
- Support on buying trip for all the quality related issues;
- Conduct quality review on each seasonal program after shipment and drive improvement if any;
- Work with vendor and buyer to develop product specification, conduct benchmarking test, performance testing and inspection criteria;
- Ensure the products meeting both quality and regulatory requirements;
- Interface with US team to discuss any quality or regulatory issue
- Conduct factory visit and DURPO if necessary;
- Handle customer complaints, conduct investigation and give feedback in a timely manner
Key Position Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering/Science
- More than 4 years relevant experience, buying office and/or laboratory testing experience is preferred
- Familiar with US regulation and testing standardis a plus e.g. CPSIA, ASTMF963 and California prop. 65
- Working knowledge on problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office, i.e. Words, Excel, Powerpoint & Chinese word processing
- Good command of spoken & written English and conversational Mandarin Good problem solving skills and communication skills
- Logical, detail-minded, willing to learn and a good team player
- Travel to China or Asia countries is required
