With the company to go public in an IPO, our client is seeking for a high calibre professional to start up the Group Corporate Communications function. 

Reporting to CEOs and working closely with the CFO, you will be starting up the group communications function and its infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and implementing external communications and financial communications strategies to support brand building and business development of the Group. You will drive effective financial and media communications, including press conferences and media briefings; senior management interviews and managing local and regional media relations. Your other responsibilities are but not limited to: write and produce corporate materials like press releases, presentation materials, executive speeches, Q&As; plan and coordinate corporate/publicity events; and result announcements, annual reports as well as AGM, after the company go public. 

The ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Communications/Journalism or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of corporate communications experience in a listed company. Experience in IPO and financial PR are highly regarded. You are self-motivated, resourceful, results-driven and willing to take ownership. Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communications skills. Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese) is mandatory. Mandarin is a plus.
