Job Description

Responsibilities:

  •  To assist in preparation and execution of proposals and presentations, including the fulfillment of entitlements to corporate sponsors, patrons, foundations, private and public sectors;
  • To maintain a sponsor and market intelligence database;
  • To liaise with Education Bureau, universities, other educational institutions and secondary schools for outreach programme; and handle enquires related to outreach programme;
  • To assist in promoting and recruiting participants to attend outreach programmes from schools, other educational institutions, and youth centres;
  • To handle all logistics required for the outreach programme and to provide on-site logistics support for all outreach activities;
  • To liaise with design and printing house for preparing all publicity and promotional materials for the audience development and outreach programme, such as programme leaflets to be distributed to schools and production of event backdrops;
  • To prepare, draft and upload posts and photos for Society’s various social media platforms;
  • To provide on-site support in all Society’s events;
  • To assist in marketing, PR and event activities of the Society;
  • To coordinate with designers and production houses on promotional materials;
  • To proofread all outgoing promotional materials to ensure the accuracy;
  • To manage the librarianship of news clippings;
  • To manage the librarianship of event photos and videos;
  • To prepare various reports and analyses on sales and sponsorship programme; marketing and events reports; and thank you packages to sponsors and festival supporters; and
  • To perform any other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time

 

Requirements:

  •  University degree in Business/Languages/Marketing/Events Management with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or substantial marketing and PR experience with good industry contacts;
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Marketing Assistant;
  • Experience in marketing events and media relations in entertainment business will be an advantage;
  • Proactive, independent, good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge in Adobe AI or Photoshop is a plus;
  • Knowledge in social media interface (Facebook, Twitter, Weibo, Instagram, Youtube and etc);
  • Required to work overtime and irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain periods; and
  • Immediate available preferred
