This critical role will report to the Finance Director. This role requires the ability to oversee and supervise two teams – Procurement and Quality Assurance to manage the whole supply chain and food hygiene process across our Restaurants in Hong Kong and Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and inventory management, proven team management skills and knowledge of food Quality Assurance processes and regulations is preferable. 



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement and Supply Chain

• Manage the procurement team responsible for purchasing (order processing), shipping, supply chain and associated administrative activities in accordance with Quality standards.
• Negotiate and analyze logistical & purchasing costs to achieve best cost outcome.
• Work with the Operations team in the provision of forecast sales/demand data for food production planning.
• To achieve financial targets by proactively managing issues related to supply chain.
• Review and ensure efficient and transparent shipping documentation, reporting and processes.
• Monitor inventory performance and achieve optimum inventory level.

Quality Assurance

• Oversee the QA team to Investigate and handle quality and hygiene issues and solve any problems found.
• Manage all specifications of our food and beverage in line with risk management approaches.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality and hygiene management systems in line with compliance requirements.
• Supervise audit activities.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Supply Chain & Logistics, Food Science or related disciplines.
• At least 10 years' relevant experience in Food and Beverage industry preferably with supervisory experience. 
• Significant experience in the identification and delivery of Process Improvement.
• Ability to research, analyze and make recommendations on purchasing and logistics decisions.
• Good team management.
• Highly alert to potential food safety issue and supply chain news.
• Decisive, analytical minded with strong sense of problem solving skill.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese is essential. 
• Ambitious, passionate and able to work under pressure.
• Business travel within the region is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
• Depends on the work performance of candidate, contract extension or permanent staff would be considered.
