Responsibilities:

• Support the procurement function for Hong Kong, Macau and PRC market.
• Develop efficient ordering processes, procurement strategies and standard operating procedures to ensure maximum returns on the business's spend and suppliers' performance;
• Conduct new material sourcing, new suppliers' development and price negotiation with suppliers;
• Establish and maintain effective margin and price controls which maximize business profits;
• Ensure buying activities aligned to corporate compliance;
• Build and manage mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to maintain long term strategic partnership;
• Work closely with other departments on sourcing, promotion planning, master scheduling and maintaining material quality;
• Visits and audits necessary to validate and qualify Suppliers

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration or other Purchasing related disciplines;
• Minimum 15 years procurement experience in food & beverage for food processing or bakery industry. China sourcing exposure is a must;
• Knowledge of PRC food and related material import and export custom is definitely an advantage;
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
• Strong leadership, sense of integrity, business acumen and negotiation skills;
• Good communication, a self-motivated good team player with initiative to work under dynamic environment and tight deadlines;
• Willing travel to China
