Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• Source and develop Gifting items according to trend guide for all year round seasons 
• Provide strategic sourcing solution according to WBA Corporate plan
• Support line manager in key stakeholders management throughout sourcing process to maximize Synergy benefits, margin improvement, on-time delivery, first time inspection rate, LEAN savings and lead time reduction
• Responsible for end-to-end project management, follow critical path, risk assessment & achieve Corporate KPIs 
• Lead and monitor suppliers supply chain activities, including artwork, sample, production, on-time delivery 
• Identify the best-in-class manufacturers, build and maintain supplier relationship
• Negotiate the best commercial benefits and optimum cost with suppliers to bring the best value products to our customers
• Work closely with the team to drive buy trips 
• Lead subordinate in building category expertise and manage data accuracy in the system 
• Ad-hoc projects on top of product sourcing activities

Key Position Requirements:

• University Graduate or equivalent with min 5 years of sourcing experiences, 2 years in Gifting related categories
• Candidate with lesser experiences will be considered as Buyer
• Experiences in sizeable buying office, brand development on Gifting is a plus 
• Familiar with US retail market, regulatory requirements and sound product knowledge
• Demonstrate relevant expertise in category material and costing model, strong connection with suppliers
• Good Team player, liaise with cross-functional local and overseas teams in project management
• Fast learner and able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
• Assertive, self-motivated and excellent communication skills
• Able to handle multi-tasks, supervise subordinate and possess a high level of initiative and integrity under a dynamic and competitive environment
• Strong MS Office skills 
• Good command of English and Putonghua
• Occasion business travel may be required
