Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

 

The Senior Regional Allocation Analyst is responsible for optimizing the store inventory and replenishment process, ensure Asia stores are at an ideal stock level based on business trend and company image considerations. Working with key business partners, outlines a detailed replenishment plan and analyses trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.

 

  

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Allocation & Distribution

  • Lead team member to drive & execute Country initial allocation and replenishment strategies for all stores
  • Set up, review & maintain product allocation requirements and forecast via system, update criteria base on seasonality, capacity, store profiles, country requests, business & marketing needs
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, VM & Logistic team for new collection launch, support all marketing and promotional events, and ad hoc projects
  • Discuss with Country Merchants & Planners for seasonal initial allocation, lead and execute the allocation process, and make sure products arrive to the right location with right depth and at the right time
  • Understand the market needs & product strategies, allocate the right sizing & depth to stores
  • Support seasonal markdown, new store opening, store closure activities, develop inventory strategies with counterpart to achieve target
  • Check & monitor shipment frequently, review the launch possibilities and communicate with Merchant, Logistic & VM team for better arrangement
  • Manage product exit plan as per merchandising & planning’s directions
  • Review store capacity vs inventory level and trend sales, in partnership with countries to discuss the optimal inventory level
  • Monitor and execute SAP and TXT system for daily operation

 

 

Business Analysis, Strategic planning & Communication

  • Prepare and review sales & inventory reports down to sku & store level, propose & communicate action plans to country merchants, such as stock consolidation, stock rebalance, cross regional transfer, goods return & etc.
  • Propose and develop allocation and inventory strategic plans for best sellers, slow movers and aged inventory. Review stock level, trend sales, week cover, sell thru & etc.
  • Develop cohesive relationship with Countries, communicate actively with Country GMs, Merchants & Planners to achieve KPIs & financial targets
  • Develop both product & market intelligence, provide business insights and share with country teams
  • Work out and manage seasonal inventory flow strategies to maximize sales & customer expectations
  • Regularly review size mix, color mix, fitting as well as category mix for better allocation plan

 

   

PERSONAL PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor Degree with at least 8 years of working experience in Allocation & Distribution, Merchandising & Planning, fashion background are preferable, less experience will be considered as Regional Allocation Analyst
  • Regional exposure with hands on business management experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Sensitive to figures with strong analytical skills and good business sense to drive allocation & inventory strategies
  • Being proactive, organized, detail-minded, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Pleasant characters with strong team spirit and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS office applications and Advanced in Excel, SAP & TXT experience is a plus
  • Excellent command in English and Chinese
