We are a small newly established e-commerce company that focuses on packaging, gifts and gourmet products. We are currently seeking potential candidates to work with us as we develop.

Purchasing Assistant/ Officer

Duties

• Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs.
• Responsible for purchasing activities (PO processing, sourcing, quality control, RFQ, pricing, and delivery) from overseas and local vendors, and occasional factory visits.
• Stay up to date with industry trend and establish long term purchasing with vendors when it is beneficial to the company.
• Assist in product development cycle from sourcing to product launch.
• Assist in essential miscellaneous tasks whenever necessary.

Requirements

• F7 or above.
• 2-3 years relevant experience in shipping/ purchasing / inventory control.
• Global sourcing experience and strong experience in managing Mainland China vendors.
• On-line sourcing and purchases experience
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills in written English and Chinese.
• Patient, well mannered, and independent.
• Proactive and able to work under pressure with multi-tasking ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
