Our client is an international consumer goods company, providing products for both B2B and B2C markets.

Job description: 

• Develop and execute integrated procurement strategies to achieve the Company’s goals and business needs
• Implement strategic sourcing and continuous cost reduction program on different categories of direct materials
• Negotiate business deals and contracts with external suppliers
• Align with Business Units for total cost reduction to reinforce cost competitive procurement strategies
• Manage and enhance the effectiveness of supply chain practices in terms of cost, quality and timeliness
• Conduct in-depth research and regular evaluation on external suppliers, so as to achieve cost competiveness, stable supply of goods and services

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree or above in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Management or other related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement of direct materials in which 3 years at management level with regional exposure
• Solid experience in large scale EMS manufacturing field is a MUST.
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, problem solving capability and strategic mentality
• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in both English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Occasional travel to Mainland China / Malaysia / Vietnam is required
