Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting into the Regional Sourcing Director to support the business to continuously be a world-class sourcing organization by maintaining strong business relationships and executing strategies. To effectively fulfill the production elements of Accessories & Intimates categories. Partner with global and local counterparts to ensure all business goals and objectives are met, including but not limited to pricing, sampling and on-time delivery.
This position is located in Hong Kong.
Key Accountability
- To support the execution of business strategies
- To oversee and drive both Accessories and Intimates categories
- To bring in market insights on sourcing trend, product trend and guest needs, identify product category opportunities
- To manage vendor/factory matrix
- To identify potential business partners, coach new business partners through on-boarding processes
- To execute production tasks and escalate/rectify any issues in prompt and sound manner
Requirements
- Passionate with Accessories & Intimates industry
- Bachelor Degree in related discipline is a must
- 10+ years solid experience in sourcing, with at least 5+ years experience gained from US-based or large-scale multinational companies
- Experience in accessories & intimates industry is an advantage but not mandatory
- Highly skilled in vendor and factory coaching
- Highly skilled in intuitive problem solving
- Strong critical thinking and data analysis capabilities
- Experience supporting a large network of internal & external partners/clients
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills to work successfully across functional teams
- Able to maintain flexibility in a changing environment
- Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously under limited supervision
- Able to travel occasionally
- Applicants who are currently assistant managers/ managers preferred
