Our client, one of the largest apparel company in the world, is looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join their Hong Kong operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow up production after salesman samples are shipped
• Manage bulk buy with RMT team, cover styles in woven and sweater
• Manage all related pos are shipped on time
• Set up line meeting with PD after salesman samples are sent, calling out fabric issues, styles issues to EU and Asia once SMS samples are shipped
• Manage the order confirmation with AMS and vendors
• Help the related vendors to set up care code approval chart for the team
• Call out 2nd line review meeting with FTC, Tech, vendors and QC to ensure all problems are brought on the tables before bulk buy are placed
• Monitor the buy confirmation to vendors until bulk GTN pos are placed to vendors correctly
• Weekly WIP reports to AMS and CKJ Asia office to achieve 95 % on time bulk delivery
• Monthly factories visit with factories production team to ensure all trims and process are in place in order to ensure no call out for delivery extension

Requirements

• At least 8 year in the industries with 5 years experience monitor bulk order follow up include - fit samples, PP samples or TOP samples
• Professional Diploma or High Diploma in Fashion and Clothing
• Strong in process set up, production follow up, flexible problem solving skills in garment industries
• Good communication skill in both written and oral for both English and Chinese.
