Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, the incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of overall merchandising and inventory management strategies for the Park’s retail business. S/he will monitor and manage inventory levels and profit margins based on established goals. S/he will also assist in product sourcing, development and evaluation. In addition, s/he will require to handle price negotiation with suppliers, purchase order tracking and product quality inspections.

Requirements:

- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Merchandising, Purchasing and Supply or any related disciplines
- With at least 4 years’ relevant experience in Merchandising or Sales field
- Experience in gift & premium, toys, stationary, household and fashion accessories is preferred
- Familiar with merchandising and product development process is preferred
- Strong product and material knowledge in metal, wood, ceramic, plastic or paper is an advantage
- Able to build strong relationships with customers and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Well organized, self-motivated, able to work independently and attention to details
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Travel to China is required
