Position Summary

To support the business to continuously be a world-class sourcing organization by maintaining strong business relationships and executing business strategies at the operational level through core sourcing competencies. To effectively fulfill the production elements of footwear category. To support the Senior Sourcing Manager in partnering with global and local counterparts to ensure that all business goals and objectives are met, including but not limited to pricing, sampling and on-time delivery. This position is located in Hong Kong.

Key Accountabilities

• To support the execution of business strategies relating to the Company’s initiatives
• To identify potential business partners, coach new business partners through on-boarding processes
• To contribute data and insights on market trend, product trend and guest needs, identify product category opportunities
• To execute production tasks and escalate/rectify any issues in prompt and sound manner
• To maintain close communication with vendors, factories and US counterparts
• To adhere to T&A deadlines and contribute to on-time delivery, pricing and quality targets

Education and Experience

• Degree holder is a must
• 8+ years relevant experience in sourcing, preferably from US-based or large-scale multinational companies
• Experience in footwear industry is an advantage but not mandatory
• Experience and exposure in an international and dynamic team
• Experience in vendor and factory coaching
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Good command of both English and Mandarin

In-country Expert- Act against industry intelligence to deliver best results.  Able to see global connectivity

Production Management- High level of production planning across division/vendors. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues

Guest Needs & Expectations- Identify guest insights, coach supply chains to meet Quality, Responsible Sourcing expectations

Strategic Development- Build business plan to support sourcing strategy. Influence strategic discussions with sourcing POVs

Communication & Influencing- Be bold and curious. Proactively influence business strategy through deep in-country insight and compelling sourcing strategies

Strategic Thought- Identify white space and new opportunities, draw from broad resources and inputs
