Job Description
Position Objective:
To manage inventory and logistics for HK Distribution Center
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipping, logistics, receiving and material handling of HK distribution center.
- To ensure that all transactions are kept current, recorded accurately, and processed efficiently
- Devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures, ensure product stock is adequate as per set stock levels and initiate all requests for replenishment of stock
- Oversee the receipt and dispersal of materials entering or leaving warehouse;
- Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Communicate with all key stakeholders actively
Reporting: GM Merchandising and Planning
Position Requirements:
• A graduate with at least 10 years work experience in the Supply Chain/ logistics function – actively working in an ERP driven environment
• Being in the warehousing function of a multi-store retail company is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Good command over English language- verbal and written
• Analytical bent of mind with working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
• Reliable and trustworthy (maintaining confidentiality of information)
