Our client, a Hong Kong's cultural authority is seeking to hire a contract Project Coordinatorto support its operations.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining constructive working relationship with the media, the related government department(s), various stakeholders and across internal departments
• Developing press releases, related collateral materials and backgrounders;
• Providing administrative support in office, including handling media enquiries, press release distribution, preparing media reports and maintaining press contact lists; and
• Providing logistics support to various media events.

Requirement:

• Possess a recognised university degree in journalism, public relations, communications, translation, or equivalent;
• Have at least 3 years of relevant working experience;
• Have proven experience in media relations and public affairs as well as network with the media;
• Be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is preferred;
• Hhave experience in preparing press releases and press kits;
• Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and have strong media sense; and
• Require to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays.
