Responsibilities:

• Assist Gallery Directors in the production and promotion of gallery exhibitions
• Maintain gallery space and manage the daily operations and staff members
• Managing communications with artists and curators
• Manage international and local logistics of shipping artworks to and from overseas
• Actively build the gallery’s clientele base and generate sales
• Organize and manage local and overseas art fair participation, including development of overseas clients
• Manage all events in the gallery with the assistance of Gallery Assistants and Interns

Requirements:

• Fluency in spoken and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)
• Graphic design proficiency with design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Responsible, detail-oriented, well-organised and self-motivated
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Personal network with collectors, institutions and curators in Hong Kong and overseas
• Strong interest and knowledge in art and Hong Kong art scene
• 5+ years’ experience in art industry/gallery is a plus
• Immediate availability is preferred

Working Hours : 10:30 am - 7:30 pm, 5 days per week (1 day on weekend) ; candidate is expected to report to duty should there be gallery events that are outside the working hours
