Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Vertical Sales and Key Account Management teams
  • Ensure the compliance of global sales policies, processes and guidelines in the region
  • Engage key customers and drive the growth of the accounts, develop long term partnerships and increase the market shares
  • Define and drive the growth plan in the region in accordance with the strategic priorities
  • Identify new markets and develop solutions and services in cooperation with other functional teams
  • Support Global Key Account managers in setting up, preparing and holding customer engagement meetings
  • Review nominated accounts pipeline (including RFQ’s), activities and performance using global standard reports and define corrective actions
  • Review up-trading, down-trading, loss-making and newly gained accounts on a monthly basis and take corrective action
  • Ensure the concerns and complaints from nominated accounts are timely escalated to relevant stakeholders
  • Support global opportunity board and ensure all vertical sales related opportunities are timely and properly prepared
  • Ensure RFI & RFQ post-bid analysis is created and shared with Key Account Managers and corrective actions are aligned and agreed with Sales and Product functions for Global Accounts within the lead Region
  • Support during contract negotiations to achieve best terms and conditions in accordance with company policy and ensure that signed contracts and addendums are properly stored in contract management system
  • Drive data quality improvement and update opportunity pipelines in CRM in the Region
  • Take a leadership approach in recognizing, developing innovation and partnering with product to develop, review and facilitate introduction of revised Operational Process Flows to deliver Operational Excellence

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Business related discipline with at least 10 years experience in forwarding and logistics industry
  • Minimum 5 years experience in market and sales management in Asia Pacific region
  • Possess functional know-how in air freight, ocean, logistics, forwarding and supply chain management systems and in-depth industry vertical knowledge
  • Experienced in handling retail accounts with strong market knowledge
  • Result and team driven with proven record of being a good motivator and facilitator in realizing target achievement
  • Strong problem solving skills, good planning, organizational and strategic planning skills
  • Able to manage cross-functional interfaces and strong in networking and building relationship
  • Excellent command in both spoken and written English, proficiency in other languages is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS applications, CRM, SAP or similar systems
