Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Take care of all Travel Retail relevant changes in legal requirements (new import regulations) for defined TR assortment in close contact with China local affiliate in Shanghai & TR Asia Sales in HK
  • Monitor HP / Registration status in accordance with responsible HQ Supply Chain functions and China LM
  • Plan, prepare and manage CITES order for Shanghai, (may be extended to BJ if it applies later) in close contact with retailer to ensure sufficient inventory
  • Collect & monitor customer requirements regarding order fulfilment & logistics
  • Monitor shipment, shipment documentation and follow up with HQ and/or with external vendors (Retailer and Agency) to ensure shipment and ship out accordingly to planned schedule
  • Coordinate & check order entry including definition of additional tester demand & collateral materials
  • Control timely order entry and general availability of assortment (discontinuations)
  • Coordinate information about availability of saleable, testers & collaterals between HQ and TR China
  • Coordinate complaint management related to shipments together with HQ
  • Coordinate all credit notes/debit note related to shipment
  • Regular contact with customers by e-mail & phone calls for daily questions in connection with orders,  availability of goods, pricing & product information etc and in close contact with Area Manager
  • Prepare regular monthly report and data analysis for management review, system upload, update, analysis and maintain the accuracy of data
  • Prepare sell out analysis, KPI & other reports to support Training & Sales team for strategy planning and execution

Requirements

  • College or University education in Logistics/ Business Administration and preferably with 3 years of experience in Import Business
  • Strong customer focus and joined up thinking
  • Pro-active, sense of awareness and willing to work in fast-paced work environment/ meet deadlines
  • Good team player that shows initiative and an exact and efficient work manner
  • Good interpersonal skills and effective in communication
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (and/or Cantonese)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, be familiar with ERP systems is a plus
  • Station in HK, willingness to travel in regular basis to China or other Affiliates & customers
