Job Description

Summary:

This is a great opportunity to be part of our successful Sales & Business Development Team, which helps our clients to source innovative gifts and premiums for their marketing campaigns.

You will be exposed to broad range of clients including law firms, banks, consulting firms, and technology firms. As part of your role you will identify, contact and bring on board new clients. You will also manage a portfolio of existing clients. The diversity of projects and tasks will ensure a steep learning curve and an exciting job role. We support staff development and you will receive detailed training on negotiation and client relationship management. Learn and grow with us!

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Business-to-business (B2B) sales role at manager level with two (2) components to the role (see overview below)
  • Target clients are large, professional businesses based in Hong Kong and across Asia, including law firms, banks, technology companies, financial services firms, consulting firms and insurance companies

1. Sales Role Component:

  • Product sales focusing on marketing products such as corporate gifts and premiums
  • Sales manager will be responsible for hunting for new prospective clients (60%) and managing sales to existing client accounts (40%). This will also include opening up new sales channels to different offices across Asia of existing client accounts
  • Hitting monthly sales targets consistently to help Zebra Branding grow its market share

2. Merchandising Component:

  • Liaise with suppliers of marketing products: 1) factories in China and 2) sales offices in Hong Kong
  • Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and production timelines of products
  • Coordinate samples and shipment of mass production
  • Working with existing and new suppliers to find new products that are fresh to the market and unseen by clients 

Ideal Candidate Profile: 

  • A sales ‘hunter’
  • Previous cold calling experience
  • Confident and fluent in English on the phone when speaking to clients
  • Previous B2B sales experience selling into large corporates
  • Previous product sales experience, preferably in gifts & premiums, sundries or electronics
  • Ability to take ownership and be an in-house leader in product knowledge and solutions
  • Previous merchandising experience, particularly with factories in China
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Self starter who requires little management oversight, has strong team spirit and a positive mind-set
