Job Responsibilities :

• To take a leading role in the design and development of new laboratory facilities
• To manage the work activities in the laboratory and on site in an efficient and customer focused manner
• To analyse market opportunities and generate new and profitable business
• To ensure prescribed procedures in testing samples are followed
• To carry out site audits when necessary
• To extend scope of testing by developing and implementing new tests and methods
• To develop and maintain relationships with customers

Requirements :

• Bachelor degree in chemistry, environmental science or other related disciplines
• Certificate in microbiological testing is an advantage
• At least five years testing experience in physical, non-metallic, trace metals, organic pollutants and toxicity tests for water and construction materials under ISO 17025 quality system
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Good problem solving techniques
