The Job:

• To assist the manager in monitoring all warehouse operations of the Distribution Services Department and suggest ways to increase productivity of warehouse operations.
• To coordinate with Operations teams and sub-contractors to solve possible problems in warehouse.
• To assist the manager to coordinate with sub-contractors to respond to continuous change of cargo amount/requirement for ensuring smooth warehouse operations workflow.
• To effectively deal with sub-contractors and monitor them on the operations flow ranging from cargo receiving, storage, pick & pack, delivery and other value added services if required.
• To negotiate with sub-contractors for the best price and service in order to maintain the competitive edge in the market.
• To control the usage of warehouse supplies for cost saving and resources management.
• To provide and coach on-the-job training to subordinates for quality enhancement of distribution services in warehouse rendered to existing and potential customers.
• To perform associated warehouse function such as support and administration activities.
  
  

The Qualifications:

• University Graduate with over 5 years working experience in freight forwarding industry which 2 years in supervisory or above level, OR
• Certificate/Diploma or Formal Secondary School graduate over 7 years working experience in freight forwarding industry which 4 years in managerial level;
• Distribution management or warehouse management background will be preferred.
