Job Description
Senior Purchasing Manager
The incumbent will lead the Purchasing team and will be responsible for food and non-food items sourcing and inventory control to support stores operations; striving to reduce the total cost of goods sold; driving the team performance to achieve company goals; managing day to day supply chain operations, including handling orders, tendering, quotations and inventory review. Strategic thinking and mind-set is needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Business Administration Management, Catering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years' Supply Chain/Procurement experience in which 3 years at managerial level, preferably in Food & Beverage or Retail industry
- Hands-on experience in SAP system is preferred
- Strong problem solving, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, independent and able to work under tight deadlines
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Proficient in PC application such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
