Act as a deputy to the supply chain manager and ensure smooth operational flow on the assigned retailing markets. Provide over sight operational supports and people contingency back up in the assigned team. Familiar with overall operational processes and service level requirements in providing excellence supply chain services to various assigned internal markets.

Supports the KPI monitoring of designated freight forwarder to ensure all service levels are met, or exceeded. Act as a coordinator to facilitate process improvement programs in targeted supply chain efficiency. 

Manage the supply chain process between PO creation and shipment arrangement for the dedicated internal customers. Ensure a clear understanding of PO status and be the ambassador in representing the company to liaise with the factory on all PO related matters and ensuring finished goods are produced in a timely manner against an excellent level of “On-Time Delivery in Full” expectation.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities

• Develop, establish and manage supply related procurement actions in conjunction with Retail Supply. Identify and conduct production pull-in and push-out request. Ensure continuity of supply across international supply chain.
• Provide project assistance to support the development of various supply chain initiatives such as reduction of MOQ and Lead time, Build-To-Forecast, Finished Goods at Origin, 3PL Development Projects and TradeStone System Upgrade.
• Assist in establish, monitoring and identify improvement opportunities on freight forwarding management.
• Act as a senior member at the operational level in providing technical support and on-job training to other new members in the team.
• Working closely with overseas Retail Supply and Import team to ensure good understanding of service expectation on shipment and product supply.
• Ensure high data integrity on inter-system linkage with regards to PO, Items and Shipment details.
• Confirm release of inter-company POs and ensure best optimal ex-factory date is agreed with suppliers.
• Investigate and carry thorough assessment over delay reason shall it arise.
• Authorize supplier shipment booking on freight management system
• Conduct periodical review over On-time delivery performance with Retail Supply team and shipment service level reviews with suppliers.
• Provide adequate assistance in freight consolidation at origin and support through custom clearance at destinations.
• Resolving supplier production issues, multiple delivery and freight consolidation arrangements.
• Perform manual system input and regular supply / logistics performance reports.

Key Position Requirement:

•  5 years of relevant experience in buying office;
• Experience in supply chain development projects in a changing environment.
• Experience in setting up departmental performance objectives and SOPs.
• Good knowledge in supplier production and freight arrangement.
• Experience in working alongside with supplier, sourcing, retail on PO management
• Sounds knowledge in PO and freight forwarder management.
• Excellent communication skills with various parties across the supply chain.
• Excellent problem solving skills, proactive, independent, detail minded and well organized.
• Familiar with ERP, or any other cross-functional large scale system operations.
