Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Support develop ocean product delivery plan for the group – trade lane Middle East/Indian Subcontinent, Intra-Asia, Asia-Oceania, Asia-Latam, Asia-America, Asia-Europe,

Support Implementing proactive, best practice ocean product strategies, polices, and procedures and supporting APAC and overseas offices
Building a strong partnership within shipping lines and other logistics partners.
Focus with templates and set out business, performance and reporting requirement utilizing RFQ techniques to identify, select, and engage with competitive, cost-effective, high quality suppliers
Enhancing suppliers relationships in order to ensure optimum levels of service, quality, value and cost objectives are met
Managing to targeted goal related to cost-savings, sourcing and pricing activities

Requirements:

Degree holder in Business Administration/Logistics/Purchasing Management
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in freight forwarding industry or carrier
Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English
Proficient in computer operations (MS Word, Excel and PPT)
Candidate with significant knowledge ocean product and ability in contract construction and negotiation skills
Knowledge in Rail and co-loading will be a plus
Less experience may consider post as Ocean Product Executive
