Job Description

We are looking for a professional with more than 6 years of talent acquisition experience to join us as a Business Development and Client Service Manager.  

The Business Development and Client Service Manager will be an integral part of our client services team. He / She is responsible for developing and on-boarding new business opportunities, working together in a team with our Talent Acquisition Manager, Project Coordinator, Business Development Executives and under the direction of our Client Services Director.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Promote existing and new professional services via various marketing channels (traditional and online) as well as through networking opportunities
  • Establish a strong business relationship with existing clients, drive for new business opportunities and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Understand the market environment as well as the client’s issues, advise and deploy different consultative strategies to offer the best solutions available based on comprehensive range of services that the Firm can offer
  • Work independently or as a team to conduct client visits and prepare proposals and analytics, review market strategies, etc in order to achieve revenue growth
  • Act as a resource to the team and Client Services Director by providing industry insights regarding the current and upcoming trends, competition, etc
  • Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision
  • Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations

Requirements:

  • University degree holder
  • At least 6 years' experience in client servicing, marketing and/or business development in MNCs with a proven record
  • Overseas working experience, knowledge about accounting / professional services/outsourcing services will be a plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A can-do attitude and outspoken personality will be a valuable aspect
  • Presentable, organized and structured, mature and creative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people and negotiation skills, with the ability to impact and influence others
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is necessary
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be passionate for providing exceptional quality service and striving for exceeding clients’ expectations
