Our client is a top tier financial institution with offices around the globe. Due to its continuous expansion, the company is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager for its Employee Share Plan Management Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and advising clients’ share-based compensation related financial reporting needs
• Co-leading the finance and accounting activities to drive business performance and growth
• Monitor and balance workload and allocate resources accordingly
• Assist in managing team profitability, planning and budgeting
• Assist in following up industrial trends and regulation changes
• Assist in working out and managing the professional development program for the team members
• Assist in continuously monitoring and analysing support procedures , identify and resolve procedure problems
• Play a key role in implementing Financial Accounting and Controlling System with the project team
• Assist in managing working level relationships with influencers and potential partners (auditors, accountant)
• Assist in managing operational relationships with internal stakeholders and service provider
• Assist in defining existing service offerings and expanding new service offerings that could be up-sold and rolled out to the existing and prospective clients
• Leading external projects from clients
• Supervising teammates to handle complex ad hoc tasks

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 7 years’ relevant experience
• Solid management skill and a track record of leading and growing a team
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese is a must
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding about accounting standard including IFRS2 and ASC 718 is preferred  
• Qualified accountant is a plus
• Knowledge in employee share plans is definitely an advantage
• Good problem solving techniques and attention to details
• Excellent critical & logical thinking and data analysis skill
• Familiar with Macro or VBA is a plus
