Responsibilities

• Assist Audit Managers in assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of financial and operational controls of the Group and recommend best practices to strengthen the Group’s internal control environment;
• Independently perform audit planning, conduct risk assessment and develop internal audit programmes for different group companies and lines of business;
• Carry out internal audit reviews, document findings, make recommendations for improvement and communicate with operating personnel at various levels;
• Draft audit findings and attend closing meetings;
• Follow up and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations;
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

• A qualified accountant/internal auditor with minimum 5 years’ of auditing experience, preferably gained in conglomerates with diversified business;
• Be proactive, hands-on, self-motivated, well-organized, with strong analytical and communication skills
• Be able to work under pressure and independently in a team environment;
• Knowledge of IT audits would be an advantage;
• Willing to take up extensive travels to the PRC;
• Proficient in Microsoft applications;
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese. (Cantonese & Putonghua).
