Job Description

• Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support;
• Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management;
• Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting;
• Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecast;
• Responsible for all aspects of managing and tracking expense budgets, targets and forecasts; includes cost of goods, operations, duties, marketing, travel, headcount and G&A expenses;
• Prepare monthly management and statutory reporting and perform analytical reviews over AR/collection and AP performance;
• Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions;
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials;
• Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools. Maintains and develops various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance;
• Market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation computations;
• Handles ad hoc project or duties as required

Academic and Working Qualifications

• Bachelor degree holder with major in finance or accounting;
• Qualified Finance professional (CPA, GAAP, ACCA) preferred;
• Minimum 7 years of related experiences, experience with MNCs / big 4 / FMCG or retail industry an advantage;
• Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models;
• Excellent MS skills required (excel including pivot tables, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); experience with BAAN, Hyperion or any enterprise solutions a plus; familiarity with data query/data management tools extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects
• Attention to details yet business focus;
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills;
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, self-disciplined and with high integrity;
• Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate effectively with all levels;
• Mature, good track record in managing and developing people;
• Fluent in written & spoken English & Mandarin
