Responsibilities:.

• Report to a Financial Controller, a second in charge in the department
• Manage a team of 5 across all accounting functions (A/R, A/P, treasury, general ledger)
• Responsible a full set of book and oversee the daily operation of the accounting department
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of the financial statement (monthly, quarterly and yearly closing) & analysis the reports and accounting data to drive the business performance
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, principles, policies & procedure
• Liaise with the external auditors
• Participate in some aspects of the budget & reforecast activities
• Other ad-hoc assignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a Qualified Accountant
• At least 5 years solid accounting experience in a similar position with working experience in Retail industry
• Strong knowledge in using SAP, Cognos, and TM1 would be a definite advantage
• With a good leadership skill, work independently and experience of managing a project
• Enthusiastic, positive, proactive approach, and continue to look for an improvement
• Good command in both spoken & written English
