Job Role:

This position is a regional role which is responsible for monitoring debt collection & cash flow and performing risk control for Credit Control Team and will directly report to Regional Finance Manager.

Job Description

- Monitor client’s trading accounts and ensure settlement within a timely manner
- Prepare & review weekly and monthly reports on trade debtors
- Prepare & review monthly cash inflow forecast
- Prepare interim & year-end bad debt provision assessment
- Investigate and approve credit claim cases
- Perform agent assessment & review relevant contracts
- Perform daily credit control and issue any correspondence if necessary
- Propose & implement credit control policy and address & minimize possible credit risks
- Manage the team. Assign and monitor works of subordinates
- Act as a consultant to sales and operation division and liaise with relevant regional departments & account team to ensure smooth operation
- Liaise with auditors, lawyers and consultants
- Perform any special duties / projects as assigned by the Management and Regional Finance Manager

Requirements

- Bachelor degree holder, preferably in account, finance, legal or related disciplines
- At least 3 to 7 years onwards solid working experience, preferably with experience in handling receivables and/or debt collection
- Experience in travelling industry will be an advantage but not a must.
- Familiar with credit operational cycle and internal control
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Initiative, Proactive, Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Computer literacy with knowledge in Microsoft Office, Chinese & English Word Processing
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Immediate availability is preferred.

P.S. Potential candidate will be considered as Credit Control Manager. Less experienced candidate will be considered as Credit Control Supervisor.
