Responsibilities

• The accurate recording and execution of all accounting transactions for our regional headquarters in Hong Kong, and our entities in Australia, Japan, Philippines & Singapore
• Taking the pivotal role in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Ensuring adequate funding of payroll agencies throughout the region to meet monthly payroll requirements
• Liaising with external and internal auditors
• Managing banking relationships for all entities
• Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly and annual financial & tax returns for all our entities
• Providing commercial analysis - analysing daily trading information in our fast moving high volume business
• Managing the finance staff in our Asia-Pacific offices

Skills and experience required

• At least six years’ experience working within a high volume service oriented business, probably in an SME environment
• The ability to prepare management accounts to a high standard and to tight deadlines
• A proactive analytical approach and a commercial focus
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral in English. Cantonese or other Asian Language an advantage
• Very good Excel skills/data manipulation capability
• Experience in using and manipulating data through accounting systems. Experience of ORACLE Financials
• Strong organisational and project management skills

Education

CPA or equivalent qualification required
