The Company

App Media Group manages and markets "BloomMe", Hong Kong's leading spa and beauty booking app as well as BloomMe Pro, the leading Asia focussed spa management software solution. BloomMe is an iOS and Android app offering treatments from more than 1500 spa partners and we are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to assist in the execution of all accounting processes, support business administration and assist the development and analysis of key metrics in the context of our investor reporting in regard of our three group companies.

Duties/Responsibilities

As  accounting clerk you will work closely with BloomMe’s CFO and the head of accounting on a daily basis and will assist the execution of all aspects of BloomMe’s financial accounting and management reporting. This includes supplier invoice recognition, supervision of our booking and payment database, month-end account closing, bank reconciliations and execution of on-going audit requirements. In addition, the candidate will support the development and analysis of key business metrics and assist the fund-raising process. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to operate a fast growing, investor funded startup. As such you will gain a wide variety of business insights at a stage before the company expands internationally.

Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need to be diligent in your execution and motivated to learn. Personal traits and talent will be granted greater importance than pre-existing knowledge and work experience.

•       Degree holder in accountancy, finance or business administration
•       0-3 years of relevant work experience
•       Proactive, diligent, analytical and hardworking
•       Proficiency in English. Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus
•     Fresh graduates welcome
