Looking for an actuary with solid experience in Solvency II / Economic Capital / Asset Liability Modelling. Our client is one of the market leaders in Hong Kong. They also have coverage in other parts of Asia in which the Hong Kong team always act as pioneer to give guidance to those areas. Joining this team could allow excellent exposure in working with senior management people across Hong Kong and other Asia areas.

In this role, you will primarily handle compliance related issues related to Economic Capital such as Internal Model review, Internal / External Audit and Model Risk Governance. You will develop and enhance Economic Capital framework and methodology. You will play a key role in the implementation of regulatory Risk Based Capital (RBC) framework in Hong Kong over the coming years.

Requirements

• University graduate in Actuarial Science, Business Finance or related discipline
• Nearly qualified or qualified on the actuarial examinations, and with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of industry good practice and regulations such as Solvency II around economic capital.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance modelling methodologies and techniques, including liability modelling, and Asset Liability modelling.
