Our client is a leading manufacturer in the pharmaceutical sector who is well-established in its industry. Due to their rapid expansion within the Asia Pacific region, they are currently looking for an experienced individual to join their compliance team.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Control, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the organization on risks and internal controls, process/system improvements
• Monitoring corporate accounting policies review and responsible for planning in financial audits
• Collaborating with regional team to design and implement business procedures in order to standardize business processes and improve internal control environment
• Executing the audit plan and conducting internal control system review and qualifying its effectiveness; also in charge of the SOX process for the APAC region
• Providing recommendations to business managers in order to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of internal control
• Handling ad hoc investigation or projects assigned by the management

To be considered a successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting disciplines
• Qualified accountant in recognized professional body
• At least 8 years of experience gained from both Big 4 auditors and commercial industry
• Solid experience in financial compliance, internal control and SOX compliance framework
• Good command of English and Cantonese
